Behold the King. Mocked, scorned, hated, all because He had the audacity to give love away to all.
Behold the King. Wearing the only crown He would receive from humanity, as the cost of love drove thorns into His head.
Behold the King. Hanging on a cross, totally alone for the first time in all of eternity, as His Father turns away from the blackness of the sin the King now bears.
Behold the King. Hanging on a cross. Breathing His last. The chasm of debt paid.
Behold the King. Alive. Cooking breakfast for His friends, rescuing and restoring Peter in one conversation.
Behold the King. Ascending into heaven and promising to send another.
Behold the King. Filling your lungs and life with the breath and power of His Holy Spirit.
Behold the King. In your actions, your thoughts, your feelings, your hands, your feet, your mouth, your heart.
Behold the King. In this season of remembrance will you allow yourself to behold Jesus Christ and allow His Holy Spirit to guide every moment of this day so that a world that so desperately needs a Savior will see the King today….through you?
